150717 Netizens compliment Taeyeon’s ever improving visuals
A recent post on Pann praising Girls’ Generation vocalist Taeyeon has garnered much support from fans.
The post, made on July 14th, includes a series of photos of the star from the girl group’s recent comeback for “Party.” Taeyeon can be seen in casual attire in the collection.
The poster wrote, “Girls’ Generation’s visuals are always on the rise when their comeback is around the corner. We can see blond Taengoo once again..she’s becoming more and more unreal. Her visuals will give you goosebumps..I thought black hair was the truth for her, but it’s actually her two-toned hair. Everything suits her after all! It’s hard to be consistently pretty after debut but Taeyeon is steadily getting prettier and prettier. This album really is the legend for her in terms of visuals.”

[NEWS] 150321 Reason Behind Yoona and Lay's Absence and Tao's Participation in SMTOWN Taiwan
150321 Reason Behind Yoona and Lay's Absence and Tao's Participation in SMTOWN Taiwan
Earlier it was announced that many artists would be absent from the SMTOWN Taiwan show on March 21st including Girl’s Generation‘s Yoona and EXO‘s Lay.
According to SM Entertainment officials, “EXO’s Lay and Girl’s Generation’s Yoona are currently committed to shoots in China and will not be able to participate in the concert.”
Currently, Yoona is shooting for Chinese period drama Wu Shen Zhao Zi Long (English title: God of War Zhao Zi Long) as the heroine in the modern adaption of the Chinese classic novel “Romance of Three Kingdoms.” This story will delve into the story of General Zhao Zi Long as a romance begins to unfold among the backdrop of war. God of War will begin airing on HunanTV this August.
Meanwhile, Lay was recently cast as the lead role in Chinese movie Cong Tien Er Jiang (Oh My God!) which has begun shooting quickly once his casting was confirmed. Expectations are high for the EXO member’s acting debut especially since it will be directed by Zhang Ziyi, internationally known actress who starred in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Hero, and House of Flying Daggers. The movie also stars other big Chinese stars including Li Xiaolu (Jacqueline Li) and Chen Xudong (Cheney Chen).
Lay and Yoona were announced to be absent from the Taiwan Concert along with fellow EXO member Tao who announced that he intends to take the stage with SMTOWN in Taiwan, nullifying previous statements.
Super Junior‘s Sungmin and f(x)‘s Sulli will also be absent, however, though there has been no word on a prior commitment or schedule for the two idols. This is causing fans to wonder why the two will not be participating.
Recently, EXO wrapped up five nights of the second tour EXO Planet #2: Exo’LuXion in Seoul last weekend and previewed tracks from their upcoming album Exodus which will be released on March 30th. The group has already announced plans for the comeback stage and has been teasing fans by releasing teasers daily. Currently, the teasers for Kai, Tao, Chanyeol, and Xiumin have been released and anticipation from fans is exponentially high as it will be the group’s first comeback since last May and as a ten-member group.

[NEWS] 150320 Girls’ Generation narrowly avoids serious injury after stage malfunction at SMTOWN practice
150320 Girls’ Generation narrowly avoids serious injury after stage malfunction at SMTOWN practice
The artists of SMTOWN went through a practice run of their Taiwan concert, which was not without incident as members of Girls’ Generation narrowly avoided injury.
In a fancam recently shared of SMTOWN’s practice concert held on March 20th, Girls’ Generation’s stage incident was filmed.
Holding their practice stage for the track “Kissing You,” Girls’ Generation made their way to the side stages and to a stage car that would then drive the group to the front and center stage. However, the stage car — presumably holding members Hyoyeon, Seohyun, and Tiffany — came into trouble as it attempted to right itself so that its side connected to the front-centerstage, allowing the three members to step off. A staff member can be seen walking up to the stage car to give the driver instructions on how to right itself.
Backing up a bit abruptly, the stage car hit the tarp near the front-center stage causing its wheels to be wrapped up in it. The sudden action caught Hyoyeon, Seohyun, and Tiffany off-guard as they braced themselves against the rails. Unfortunately, Seohyun was unable to brace herself and fell hard on the ground, Hyoyeon turning to help her up soon afterwards.
SMTOWN is holding their Taiwan concert on March 21st, which will unfortunately not include a few artists whose individual schedules came into conflict with the event.
